We have participated in the set-up of the MMMC and RMI Katalist initiative and we fully support it. As Europe’s largest (biofuels) bunker port, Rotterdam is committed to making low carbon fuels available for shipping. This includes availability as well as supportive regulations and mechanisms. We expect the new Book & Claim system to result in a higher demand for sustainable fuels and will play a substantial role in decarbonizing shipping.”
